A Legacy Reborn. A Legend Unleashed.

After 32 years of serving the Edmonton community, our physical doors closed in April 2026-but our story was far from over. From our first steps in West Edmonton Mall in 1994 to our final days at the Scona location, it has been an incredible journey.

We could have called it a day. But as we stood in our Scona shop, one icon caught our eye: the massive Oozaru figure perched high on the top shelf. It was the first piece we displayed when we moved in, and we vowed it would be the last one to come down.

That Golden Ape represents exactly who we are. Comex Hobby was a pioneer in the scene, and we refuse to be the last to leave it. Like the Oozaru, we are evolving-growing stronger, bolder, and more resilient.
